Among these 8 teams, the top 4 teams will be selected for the Super 12s. The matches for Super 12s will start from the 24th of October 2022. A total of 12 teams will play in the Super 12s round. Among these, 4 teams will be from Round 1 and others are top 8 ranked T20I teams.
These 12 teams will be split into 2 separate groups consisting of 6 teams in each group and they will play a total of 30 matches. There will be 3 knockout games, 2 semi-finals, and finally, the desired final.
